I think I found my ideal Historic deck:

4 Llanowar Elves
4 Paradise Druid
4 Druid of the Cowl
4 Carnage Tyrant
2 Ghalta, Primal Hunger
2 Gargos, Vicious Watcher

4 Leyline of Abundance
2 New Horizons
2 Nissa, who Shakes the World
4 Band Together
4 Growing Rites of Itlimoc

4 Memorial to Unity
20 Forest

@DialMforMara Splash :blue: for Hydroid Krasis, for a draw engine and a nice combo with Gargos and/or all that mana?

@Ice_In_Disguise
You know, that might actually make my mana more reliable. Replacing Carnage Tyrant, though? I get the sense "can't be countered" is strong in this meta

@DialMforMara Nah, replace New Horizons and 2 Growing Rites of Itlimoc(it's legendary iirc).

@Ice_In_Disguise
So like

4 Llanowar Elves
4 Paradise Druid
4 Druid of the Cowl
4 Hydroid Krasis
4 Carnage Tyrant
2 Ghalta, Primal Hunger
2 Gargos, Vicious Watcher

4 Leyline of Abundance
2 Nissa, who Shakes the World
4 Band Together
2 Growing Rites of Itlimoc

4 Hinterland Harbor
20 Forest

@DialMforMara The mana base might be better as:

4 Hinterland Harbor
4 Breeding Pool
0-2 Temple of Mystery
14-16 Forest

I've attached an image showing how many colored sources one would need to consistently(90% or more generally) cast spells(from this article: channelfireball.com/articles/h )

For a 5C(a six mana spell requiring one colored source(article suggest +1 source for a multicolored spell but that's irrelevant here imho since all your sources tap for :green: )) you'd need at least 8 sources.

@Ice_In_Disguise My mana base logic is as follows:

I will only ever need one blue mana at a time, and I will often need double green
Paradise Druid taps for any color, so the deck as it stands contains 8 blue sources
I want to move fast, so I should minimize taplands

Maybe I'll add a Breeding Pool or two, but Temples will just slow me down

@DialMforMara Paradise Druid dies a lot easier than a land does, and being cut off from your blue that way won't be fun. :P
Hinterland Harbor is more of a tapland than Breeding Pool: consider a hand of a single Hinterland Harbor and Llanowar Elves that would've been keep able with a Forest. Such a hand is too slow with Harbor, but a Pool would've been fine.
Since all your sources would tap for :green: anyway you could play Gigantosaur without a problem, so no need to worry about :green: sources.

@Ice_In_Disguise
I'll play with it. Not sure why you'd expect me to keep a 1-land hand, but otherwise a good point about the Harbor.

@DialMforMara Leyline of Abundance, Forest, Llanowar Elves, Llanowar Elves, Paradise Druid, Carnage Tyrant, Ghalta, Primal Hunger is a hand that gives you turn 3 Tyrant, and if you've managed to draw a single land(2 or 3 draw steps to do so), it's also a turn 3 Ghalta. I'd keep such a hand, but not if it was a Hinterland Harbor instead of Forest(/Breeding Pool).
Sure, might be oddly specific, but your deck can still do that so...

@Ice_In_Disguise ok, that makes sense. Might be a way to get over my fear of paying life for things.
